There are many types of massage, each beneficial in different ways. Society is becoming more health conscious and aware of massage benefits and the problems that can occur from neglect. Why wait until a problem occurs when you can take the preventive approach?
From a therapeutic approach, massage alleviates temporary problems such as lower back pain, sciatic problems, knee/foot/hip/upper back and shoulder problems. Massage will help detox, improve circulation, and release deep muscle tightness/stiffness. Furthermore, massage will increase joint range of motion and release energy blockages, just to mention a few of the many benefits.
With my "Therapeutic Fitness Training" I incorporate massage to optimize the workout and increase agility/mobility/stability and flexibility. Massage will prevent delayed muscle onset soreness, speed up recovery time, assist in releasing restricted muscles, and enhance the workout.
